The total students in the class were split up into 14 groups of 5, each given 5 different questions to go out and photograph in different places and of different subjects around southampton.
The group i was put into was given sigange, group, motion, rubbish and reflection.
We set off out round Southampton looking for oppertunities to come up that include our questions.
Justin Quinell, a pinhole expert came in for the week.
He gave a talk about his work and his apporach to photography.
His images he displayed to the class, were extremely good. which gave us all inspiration and motivation to learnt this technique.
justin showed us how to make our camera's out of a beer can.
My image taken with beer pinhole camera. |
The idea behind my picture was to try and create a picture where it shows off some buildings as it relates to the city.
i wanted to capture people in this urban landscape.

Justin's work is different, as he takes landscapes, but he does have an element of using sculptures or buildings. The picture above there is a bridge over a river, which works really well with the movement of the sun.
